Custom Music Publishing

Outer Planets Music is a small music publishing house whose purpose is to provide music to school or community instrumental and vocal groups at a reasonable price. We specialize in custom-publishing of folksongs and well-known classical melodies for groups of any size, and any combination of instruments. We'll custom-publish for ensembles ranging from duets to full concert band. We'll transcribe and publish your handwritten scores ( using Finale 2001), and list them here for you- more info on this option can be found below the links on this page. We also have some original band music available. Just follow the links below to check out our products and services.

The first two links below take you to lists of songs which are pre-arranged as quartets for any combination of wind instruments. YOU get to select which songs ( and how many) you want in your collection, and which instruments you need them for. Just choose your favorite songs, and which instrument or instrument groups ( i.e. treble clef Bb instruments, bass clef instruments) you need them for.

TRANSCRIBING/NOTATING SERVICE- We'll transcribe and publish your original hand-written manuscripts for you, using Finale 2001( the industry standard for professional music notation). Transcribing fees vary depending on the length and complexity of the piece. Then we'll list your music here for you at no additional charge ( customers can contact you directly for purchases). DO YOU HAVE A SONG YOU WOULD LIKE US TO ARRANGE FOR YOU?- If you have a song ( either public domain or if you have the arranging rights) that you need to have arranged for a specific instrumental (or vocal) group, you'll just need to send us a copy of the version of the song you own, and we'll arrange it to fit your needs. As above, fees will vary depending on the length and complexity of the piece. E-mail us if you're interested in this option.
